Winter Recap

So I'm thinking Winter consists of the December, January, February months...and I could be completely wrong and be off by one month...or complete right and thankful that educated guesses can work. Whatever the case may be, despite the work travel ban...I guess you can say I've been pretty busy these past couple of months.

December was pretty much low-key despite the holiday f estiveness. This was actually my first full month in the new apartment in the city and it took me a while to get my bearings. I thought living in New York was convenient when I was out in Brooklyn. Yeah, living in the city is UBER convenient (and yes I did say uber). Despite my new found environment though, I did find myself going to Jersey a few times to hang out with the friends and the fam.

Did a celeberatory bday beef fest at Plataforma Churrascaria for Shelly's birthday, had a Holiday gathering with some of Darlene's old co-workers, and rounded the year out with a New Year's Wii fest at the Tingler household. Oh yeah, I also made pancit and attempted some sugar cookie baking. Obviously the latter wasn't as successful as the former. But I MADE PANCIT!!!!!!!!! And got Benjie's thumbs up of approval.

January brought me to a milestone birthday (ilk, I'm getting old). As well as back to Vegas for work. Yup, mostly work and no play, but it was still a free trip to Vegas and I got to hang with Janice and fam at Cheesecake Factory. Tristan is getting big and has his "pretty" hair. You can ask Janice more about that...she'll fill you in. Back in New York, got my chance at catching a pretty fun Knicks game and I might have to back them up for the upcoming season. Also got a chance to partake in some bowling activity at this new bowling spot on the far far west side.

February looks exhausting when I look at the pictures. Did you know that you can get free admission at The Intrepid during the first week of every month if you are a Bank of America account member? Yeah, didn't know that either until I went it for FREE. WOO HOO! As a month of firsts (that was my first trip to the Intrepid), I also went to the New York Ballet, saw a Nets game at the NJ Izod Center, and went to a new spot, Bourbon Street, for Mardi Gras.

Yeah, a busy but not so much 3 months of winter.
